The "eRead Plus (ePIRLS)" tab within the Read in Arabic platform offers an interactive experience inspired by the international study measuring reading progress worldwide (PIRLS). This tab aims to develop students' reading comprehension skills through digital activities and electronic assessments organized according to global standards
The program was developed to help prepare students for reading tests and enhance their abilities to analyze and understand texts, through a training plan spanning nine weeks
The weeks include 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 with various reading books and accompanying electronic tests, presented in multiple question formats such as multiple choice, open-ended answers, drag and drop, and matching, aiming to train students to handle different question types
As for weeks 3, 6, and 9, they are dedicated to mock exams (Mock Exams) that simulate the actual PIRLS test, where the student reads a text and then answers a set of questions measuring their understanding and analysis of the content
The program also provides comprehensive progress reports that enable both teacher and student to review the level of progress and performance across various tasks and tests, contributing to enhancing the continuous learning process
